But withal prepare me also a lodging: for I trust that through your prayers I shall be given unto you..

Reflections: Paul is kept as a prisoner. He is aware that people are praying for his release from incarceration. One of the people praying for this breakthrough is Philemon. Paul writes a letter to him. He asks Philemon to prepare a guest room for him. This is in anticipation for his release from prison. By this action, Paul was mixing the prayers of his sympathizers with his faith. He knew that mixing prayers with faith is the way to herald a miracle. Praying without demonstrating faith will remain an exercise in futility (James 1:6-7). As a key required action for supernatural results, faith must always be applied in prayer (Hebrews 4:2;11:6). Like, Paul, you must add a faith dimension to your prayer life. You will achieve remarkable results. Keep mixing your prayers with faith!
