Scripture Reading: Psalm 113:7-9
He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifteth the needy out of the dunghill; That he may set him with princes, even with the princes of his people. He maketh the barren woman keep house and be a joyful mother of children. Praise ye the LORD
Reflections: As the Psalmist dedicates his time to praise God for his supremacy, he notes two handiworks of God. The first relates to how God turns paupers into princes and seats them on their royal thrones of honour. The second refers to how He turns a barren wife into a happy mother of joyful children. These handiworks indicate the prerogative and unrestricted ability of God to turn situations around to favour His children ultimately. God is more than able to make the seemingly impossible possible. Like the Psalmist, learn to praise God for his limitless ability to turn situations around. Watch Him as He turns your situation around too!
Prayer: Dear Lord, I thank you for turning situations around in my life.
Confession: God is limitless in his abilities. He turns my life around and makes a way where there seems to be no way.
