Scripture Reading: Isaiah 10:1-2
Woe unto them that decree unrighteous decrees, and that write grievousness which they have prescribed; To turn aside the needy from judgment, and to take away the right from the poor of my people, that widows may be their prey, and that they may rob the fatherless!
Reflection: Sometimes without provocation, people encounter circumstances where they are denied their rights. Others suffer several other fates and are subjected to all kinds of hardships without having done anything physically, so to speak, to merit such harassments. One of the reasons accounting for these is laid bare by the Prophet Isaiah -the presence of an unrighteous decree. A decree speaks of an official order that is enforced by law. Spiritually, an unrighteous decree can speak of a spiritual official order backed by a satanic force. When such an order is invoked in the spirit realms over a life, things can go worse for that individual. The only way out is for God to overturn the decree. God is against those who enact such unrighteous decrees. Watch out for the presence of any such decrees in your life. Overturn it by the blood of Jesus and the power of the Holy Spirit. Remember, through prayers Esther and her people overturned the unrighteousness decree masterminded by Haman ( Esther 9:1).
Prayer: Oh Lord, overturn any unrighteous decree in my life.
