Scripture Reading: 2 Chronicles 7:11
Thus Solomon finished the house of the LORD, and the king’s house: and all that came into Solomon’s heart to make in the house of the LORD, and in his own house, he prosperously effected.
Reflections: It is common to see people fail to accomplish assigned tasks. This was not the case of Solomon, however. He was able to accomplish his task of constructing a magnificent temple for the Lord and an enviable palace for himself. It took him 7 years to build the temple (1Kings 6:38) and 13 years to complete his palace complex (1Kings7:1). In all it took him 20 years to start and to finish this construction goal of his life (1Kings 9:10). Solomon certainly walked in the grace of the accomplisher. This is the enablement that comes from God for His covenant children. It does not allow you to feel frustrated in the midst of challenges. Besides, it connects you to your needed destiny helpers and resources and urges you on until all is done and done well. Zerubbabel for instance is also noted to have accessed this grace – Zac 4:9. Indeed you can finish whatever you start in life . Just ask God for the grace of the accomplisher! May you start again what you may have stopped and may you finish it.
Prayer: Oh Lord, give me the anointing of the accomplisher. Let me finish whatever I start to your glory.
Confession: I am an Agent for Divine Change. I am used by God to bring about positive change in people’s lives.
