Scripture Reading: Judges 16:16-17
And it came to pass, when she pressed him daily with her words, and urged him, so that his soul was vexed unto death; That he told her all his heart, and said unto her, There hath not come a razor upon mine head; for I have been a Nazarite unto God from my mother’s womb: if I be shaven, then my strength will go from me, and I shall become weak, and be like any other man.

Reflections: Samson lived out his purpose until critical information about his destiny fell into the wrong hands. His strength was linked to his Nazarite vow, which required him to keep his hair unshaven. Under pressure from his beloved Delilah, Samson disclosed this vital information. Unknown to him, Delilah was an enemy concealing her true motives. Armed with this information, she cut off Samson’s hair, violating the Nazarite vow. This breach led to the sudden loss of Samson’s strength, allowing the Philistines to capture and torment him until his premature death. Be cautious, as adversaries may pose as friends to obtain vital information about you.

Prayer: Lord help me keep destiny information away from enemies in disguise.
