Scripture Reading: Mark 6:56 And whithersoever he entered, into villages, or cities, or country, they laid the sick in the streets, and besought him that they might touch if it were but the border of his garment: and as many as touched him were made whole.
Reflections: The streets of Gennesaret were jam packed with sick people. Public health wise, these gatherings could have sparked off further danger in terms of people affecting others with their infirmities. But strangely enough, the opposite happened. As everyone within the human traffic stretched forth their hands to touch the garment of Jesus Christ, they got healed. Their infections and infirmities had no effect even on His body. It was clear that He was the needed unparalleled and incomparable antidote to their health problems. As long as they could touch him, they were healed. Everybody indeed got healed at the end of the day. Joy returned to every home. Joy will return to your home too if you can stretch your hand by faith and touch Jesus. Even in this era of COVID-19 where you must avoid touching your own face or the body of others, Jesus is there for you to touch. He still remains the answer and the solution to the spread and impact of the virus. Touch Him now!
Prayer: Oh Lord Jesus, as I touch you, let any touch of any disease including COVID-19 on my life dry up and be no more.
Confession: By faith I have touched the body of Jesus Christ. COVID-19 and others cannot touch me.
